MacMillan
As a school in the last few weeks we have probably expected quite a lot, some of you may say, is that any different to normal?
On Friday 29th September we celebrated our annual Cancer fundraiser day. We celebrated with a Green theme to raise awareness and support MacMillan.
We raised nearly £900 that day with the support of our whole school community. Parents, parish, staff and children took part in all sorts of activities.
Our final event was a staff event on Friday evening. A quiz in the school hall attended by friends and family. We were entertained by the Griffin family and Mr Gallagher’s Irish dancing!
Thank you everyone for helping us raise £1300.00 for this fantastic charity. My aim was to exceed our £1000.00 total and we really did.
